  This booklet, also available in print form for members, is the result of historical research and hands-on experience from professional costumers and living historians. The information is presented in an easily read, concise format and will leave the reader in little doubt as to what they should and should not wear to make the proper historical impression. Although much of the information is rather basic, some generalizations have been made to simplify the vast body of knowledge available. We hope that this guide will help you in your own research and lead you to continually expand and improve your 19th century impression.
