Sutlers and Vendors of 19th Century wares

The sutlers and vendors on the following list sell 19th Century authentic or reproduction clothing, period patterns, cloth, supplies, or wares. This list is comprised of sutlers who offer reproductions that vary in degrees of accuracy. The LHS does not necessarily recommend any individual or firm on the list, and reserves the right to amend as needed. Inclusion on this list does not constitute an endorsement.

Those seeking costume components and who are unsure should consult with more established LHS members prior to purchase. Remember, good work in the past does not mean reproductions meet current standards! Ask lots of specific questions of these sutlers, the good ones will know why their goods are made the way they are.

We try to update our links on a regular basis; however, if you should notice that a particular link is down or not working, please contact arachnid@lhsmn.org. By the same token, if you have information that you would like us to add to our Links page, please contact arachnid@lhsmn.org.
