Minnesota Alliance of Local History Museums (MALHM)
Organized in 1991 to provide a forum for peer assistance, the Alliance is

Minnesota Association of Museums (MAM)
The Minnesota Association of Museums is a nonprofit organization that exists
to provide a forum for individuals who work in and with museums throughout
the state. Its goals are: To foster and encourage communication among museum
professionals in Minnesota; To increase the visibility of MAM and promote
Minnesota museums as a public resource for learning and recreation; and To
provide educational opportunities and training for museum staff, both paid
and volunteer.

- American Association for State and Local History (AASLH) provides leadership, service, and support for its members, who

Association for Living History, Farm and Agriculture Museums (ALHFAM)
is the museum organization for those involved in living historical
farms, agricultural museums, outdoor museums of history and folklife and
those museums - large and small - that use "living history" programming.
- Association of Midwest Museums (AMM)
serves an eight state region that includes Illinois, Indiana, Iowa,
Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Ohio and Wisconsin, and has a central office
in St. Louis, MO.
