Engaging interpretation and reenactments of the Civil War years, including soldiers, weapons, the home fronts (North and South), and wartime politics. But what led to the war in the first place? 150 years ago the nation was in crisis, and in 2010 we are exploring the year leading up to our nation's bloodiest conflict. You'll meet the farmers, millers, politicians, husbands, wives, daughters and sons that were about to have their lives turned upside down.
