Autumn Antics

A Fancy Dress Party

Honor the Autumnal Traditions of Victorian America with an evening of delightful dancing, a bountiful buffet and playful pastimes. The day of the Party begins with dance instruction that will prepare you for the evening festivities (modern clothing appropriate). The afternoon is yours to contrive your costume and have ample time to rest. Later that evening, return for a 19th Century Fancy Dress Party to mark the passing of this most unusual of seasons. Dancing and revelry will be the order of the evening, while those of you daring enough may compete in the Fancy Dress Contest. Music shall be provided by the Camptown Ladies. Period attire is respectfully requested and Fancy Dress highly encouraged, but neither is required.

Dance Workshop: 9:00am - 2:00pm
Autumn Antics: 8:00pm - 12:00am
Advance Tickets: $12 for LHS members/$14 for non-members
At the Door: $14 for LHS members/$16 for non-members
(price includes dance instruction, lunch, party admission, and refreshment buffet)
The Autumn Antics are open to those age 14 or older. No younger children, please!
Babysitting at the Dance Workshop will be available for a moderate fee of $5.00 per child, payable in person.

The registration deadline is October 25, 2002. A late registration fee of $2.00 per person will be assessed after October 25th.
